Realtor Angelina Martinez dealt seamlessly with a difficult and demanding buyer by ensuring that communications with said buyer’s realtor were immediate and comprehensive. Such an approach ensured a positive outcome for all players involved. Furthermore, Ms. Martinez was instrumental in the management of an On-site Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) issue. Pursuant to regulations (of the On-site Wastewater Treatment Systems Act, 25-10- 101, et seq., C.R.S. (OWTS Act); and, Colorado Water Quality Control Commission On-Site Wastewater Treatment System Regulation Number 43, 5 CCR 1002-43 (Regulation 43)), a seller is responsible for the upgrade of the house water system from septic to city water tap. Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, Lakewood Water Department offices were closed. Contact was only available via phone or e-mail. Angelina was constantly in contact with said Department. Her tenacity and affability created a network of cooperation. In fact, it was because of Angelina’s efforts that permits (for excavation) were obtained within days instead of weeks.
